“A beautiful story of inspiration and love! The words just flow from the author’s pen and also from his heart. Extraordinary! Well written! I love that the writer mentions God’s hand in Dr. Acquaah’s journey and that it is noted on almost every page. I feel that Dr. Acquaah was guided by our Lord and Savior, and even during low points, she persevered. One can see that she and her Lord were walking together and her wisdom and insight pleased Him.
God gave this woman a gift and she decided how she would use it. The medical and academic communities are indeed blessed to have her knowledge and skill and dedication.
The author’s explanations of African culture and how Dr. Acquaah transitioned to life in America and their amazing family dynamic is fascinating! Her focus is true and unyielding!” Sandra Plank.
“The biography of a devoted Obstetrician and Gynecologist is an inspiring true story of a woman, born in Ghana, immigrated to USA with her husband George A. Theresa pursued a MD degree successfully as she also birthed and raised 4 children. As a former associate in Dr. T. Acquaah’s OB/GYN practice, I enthusiastically applaud & recommend this book particularly to young people aspiring for their dream.”
